The Resource bookcase contains reviews of websites, teaching and learning resources, professional development providers, enrichment activity providers, software and much more.
You can browse all the contents of the resource bookcase or you can search it for something specific.
Do you have resources you want to share? If you have found a really useful online resource or provider that you would recommend as high quality, then please contact us and we can add a review with a link to the YG&T library.
Professional bookcase
In the Professional bookcase you can find White Papers and government guidance. Documents relating to the National Quality Standards are housed in their own bookcase in the library.
Most of the documents here are targeted at Local Authorities, governors, senior leadership teams, school/college staff and others responsible for planning and organising G&T provision.

If you have any successful G&T lesson plans or other materials that you want to share with others, please contact us and we can add it to the Professional bookcase.
Research bookcase
In the Research bookcase you will find research papers, interviews and case studies. They will be of most use to Leading Teachers or those responsible for organisation-wide approaches to G&T provision. Some of the research reports will be of interest to parents/ carers and learners themselves.
You can browse the research bookcase or you can search for something specific.
If you know of any research papers or reports that are not in the library but you think others will find useful then please contact us and we can add them to the YG&T library.
Quality Standards
The National Quality Standards are a suite of self-review tools to support the evaluation and development of effective provision for gifted and talented learners. They have been developed by the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools and Families) in close collaboration with practitioners and experts in the field. Separate, but complementary, frameworks are available to support planning at whole school, classroom and local authority level.
