Important Information
The Young Gifted & Talented website will be closing at the end of Friday 12 February
2010. The new web pages for gifted and talented education will be launched in the
near future on the existing National Strategies website, and visitors to this website
ygt.dcsf.gov.uk will be automatically redirected. The National Register will also
cease at this time, and will be replaced with an annual report available from the
National Strategies website. If you have any questions about the website closure,
please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document.
If you wish to book a City GATES Progression Academy for this term, G&T Co-ordinators
can do so here and after 12 February
2010 by visiting
https://www.designsmartsecuresite.co.uk/cfbtygt/index.asp. There will be
no change to the content or format of the Progression Academies this term. From
Summer term 2010, however, there will be some differences, and more information
about this will be made available on the
National Strategies website in due course.
We recommend that City GATES learners complete the online Needs Analysis Tool and
download their profile to a secure place before 12 February 2010. The facility will
not be available after that date.
